TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
There are seasons when doing the right thing feels pointless.
You keep praying, but nothing seems to change. You keep showing up for your family, but no one notices. You keep trying to lead, serve, forgive, and stay faithful, yet the results remain hidden.
Scripture does not promise that every act of obedience will produce an immediate reward. It promises that faithfulness produces a harvest in its proper season.
The danger is not that God has forgotten your work.
The danger is that you will quit before the harvest comes.
TODAY’S STORY
The Work No One Saw
A man spent years caring for his aging father.
He handled the doctor appointments, picked up prescriptions, repaired things around the house, prepared meals, and answered late-night phone calls. Most people never saw that part of his life.
They only saw that he arrived late sometimes.
They saw that he looked tired.
They saw that he declined invitations and left gatherings early.
Some assumed he was distant. Others thought he had become unreliable. Very few knew how much of his life was being quietly poured out behind closed doors.
There were days when he felt frustrated. There were days when he wondered whether any of it mattered. His father was not always able to express gratitude, and the work never seemed finished.
Years later, after his father passed, the man found an envelope tucked inside an old Bible.
Inside was a short handwritten note:
“Son, I know this has cost you more than you say. Thank you for showing me the love of Christ when I could no longer care for myself.”
For years, the man thought his work had gone unseen.
It had not.
His father had seen it.
More importantly, God had seen every mile driven, every meal prepared, every inconvenience accepted, and every moment of patience that nobody applauded.
Faithfulness is often quiet.
It may not receive attention. It may not produce immediate results. It may even be misunderstood.
But obedience does not lose its value simply because nobody is watching.
TODAY’S DEVOTION
Do Not Quit in the Hidden Season
Most people are willing to be faithful when progress is obvious.
It is easier to keep going when the business is growing, the marriage is improving, the prayer is being answered, or the people around you are expressing gratitude.
The deeper test comes when you are doing the right thing and seeing almost nothing in return.
That is where weariness begins.
Weariness is more than physical exhaustion. It is the slow belief that your effort no longer matters. It whispers that your prayers are ineffective, your leadership is unnoticed, and your obedience is producing nothing.
Galatians 6:9 confronts that lie.
God tells us not to grow weary in doing good because there is a harvest connected to faithfulness. The timing belongs to Him. The obedience belongs to us.
You may be in a hidden season right now.
You may be trying to lead your family toward God while feeling spiritually inadequate. You may be working hard without recognition. You may be fighting the same temptation repeatedly. You may be serving someone who rarely says thank you.
Do not measure the value of your obedience by the speed of the result.
A seed does not become worthless because it has not yet broken through the ground.
Much of God’s work happens where you cannot see it.
Roots grow before fruit appears. Character forms before influence expands. Endurance develops before responsibility increases.
Your current season may not be punishment.
It may be preparation.
Reflection
Where have you become discouraged because your faithfulness has not produced visible results?
Prayer
Father, forgive me for measuring obedience only by what I can see. Strengthen me where I have grown tired. Help me continue doing what is right, even when no one notices and nothing appears to change. Remind me that You see every act of faithfulness. Teach me to trust Your timing and not quit before the harvest comes. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Identify one responsibility, relationship, or spiritual discipline you have been tempted to neglect.
Do one faithful thing today.
Make the phone call. Say the prayer. Complete the task. Encourage the person. Open your Bible. Show up again.
Do not wait until you feel motivated.
Be faithful today.

NAH Brother offers a $6.49 flat rate shipping for all apparel unless a cheaper cost is offered or stated.
NAH Brother will replace items that are lost in transit, if the carrier can confirm that the package was not delivered. All NAH Brother shirts and larger packages ship with tracking information.

Returns
We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
